Hydro Power Station Almost On-Line

Construction of the new Lac Seul Hydro Power Station in Ear Falls is expected to wrap up shortly.
The 12.5-megawatt power plant is in the final stages of commissioning and will be producing power shortly.
The hydroelectric station has been plagued by various set-back’s since the project was announced in February, 2005.
The plant will be capable of generating about 52-million-kilowatt hours of clean hydroelectricity.
