Motorists Can Now Use Studded Tires

Northern Ontario motorists have another safety option to handle our treacherous winter conditions.
Until April 30th motorists can use lightweight studded tires on their vehicles.
OPP Constable Dave Cain says it’s a good idea to prepare your vehicle for the cold weather.
Studded tire legislation was passed in 2005 allowing vehicle owners to use studded tires in Northern Ontario.
