Hydro Rates Go Up on Friday

Its no April fools joke!
New hydro rates go into effect Friday across Northwestern Ontario.
Hydro One is adjusting rates for its acquired local distribution
systems including Dryden Hydro as customers will now pay 6.1% more.
Sioux Lookout Hydro has announced an overall hike of 4.4% while
Atikokan Hydro customers will pay 4% more.
The increase is due to the cost of delivering electricity from
generators to utilities.
