Federal Funds for Chukuni

The Chukuni Communities Development Corporation in Red Lake is
getting FedNor support to the tune of $300,000.
Most of the money will be spent on ongoing operating costs as the group
continues to assist small businesses.
$50,000 has been earmarked for a fund which supports
specific community-based economic development projects.
Last year, Chukuni committed almost $38,000 to 9-regional
projects.
