Hydro Rates Going Up Once Again

Some extra incentive to do your laundry and dishes during off-peak times.

The Ontario Energy Board is moving ahead with new rates for peak demand.

The changes could result in a $6 increase on your household bill.

From 11 until 5 o’clock, the price will jump to 16.1-cents per kilowatt hour, compared to 8-cents for off-peak hours.

The mid-peak rate will be 12.2-cents a kilowatt hour.
