The club has acquired 20-year-old Nathan Avery from the Iroquois Falls Eskimos of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League.
Avery is listed as 6’2, 194-pounds and hails from Russell, Ontario.
In 21-games this season, he recorded 4-goals, 10-assists and 46-penalty minutes.
Avery was also captain for the Eskimos.
To make room for Avery, the Ice Dogs have parted ways with Kyle Sutherland.
He registered 1-goal and 3-assists in 14-games, with 28-penalty minutes.
