Ice Dogs Acquire Local Talent

The Dryden Ice Dogs have pulled the trigger on 2-big deals.
The club has acquired Austin Helie from the Portage Terriers in return
for defenceman Alex McQuarrie as well as Rowen Bruetsch from the Winnipeg
South Blues for defenceman Joey McInnes.
Coach Randy Lulashnick says its great to add a pair of local
20-year-old forwards.
Heile scored 13-goals and 31-points in 44 games last year, while
Bruetsch recorded 13-goals and 28-points in just 34 contests.
Dryden gives up 19-year-old Alex McQuarrie of Fort Frances
who suited up in 22 games last year, earning 6 assists.
As well, 19-year-old Joey McInnes of Red Lake will be leaving the Ice Dogs.
McInnes netted 2 goals and 11 points in 50 games.
