Ice Dogs Add Two Senior Players To Roster

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs are gearing up for the stretch run.

The trade deadline has passed and the Dogs believe they have the team to reach number one.

The club acquired a pair of 20-year-old’s at the deadline; goalie Troy Pierce and defenceman Joe Carney.

Pierce comes from the Neepawa Natives, while Carney moves to Dryden from Steinbach.

To free up room for Pierce, the Ice Dogs traded Paul Leferriere.

Pierce and Carney are both expected to be in the line-up Wednesday as the Ice Dogs face the Fort Frances Lakers.
