It was a wild game at the Memorial Arena Friday night between the Dryden GM Ice Dogs and Minnesota Iron Rangers.
Cole Golka and Zach Kercz scored in the shootout in an 8-7 win over the Iron Rangers.
Minnesota bounced back from a 6-3 deficit but Ryan Hron scored late to force extra time.
Golka had two goals in regulation, while Jonathan Philley, Blake Berg, Kyle Pouncy and Matt Houston added singles.
Dryden GM is now 4-1 against the Iron Rangers.
In Ear Falls, the English River Miners erased a 3-1 third period deficit to upset Fort Frances 4-3.
Eric Champagne, Aaron Beauchamp, Richard Dartnall and Alex Maticic scored for the Miners.
The rematch is Saturday in Ear Falls.
