Jordan Chong was the big winner at the 5th Annual Dryden Ice Dogs
Awards Banquet Sunday night.
The 20-year-old Captain was named co-winner of the Community Service
Award, Top Scorer and Player of the Year.
chong says he’s pleased with the honor but notes it was a team effort.
Long time Ice Dog Shawn Szachury was named the Top Local Player.
Top Defenceman honors went to Dale Logal and he credits his entire back-line.
The Coach’s Award was handed to Quinn McIntosh.
The Most Sportsmanlike trophy went to Tyler Tesh, the Most Improved
was Travis Linklater and Rookie of the Year honors went to Brendan
McDonald.
The Community Service award went to Colin Spencer, Shawn Newman,
Chong and McDonald.
The Defensive Player trophy went to Cory Smith, Ryen McKinnon and
Real Assie.
