A pair of wins on the weekend has propelled the Dryden GM Ice Dogs back into the national rankings.
The Ice Dogs beat Thunder Bay 4-3 in a shootout on Friday and pounded English River 10-1 on Saturday.
Dryden is now 18th in the country, Fort Frances Lakers is 10th.
The Ice Dogs are one point back of the Lakers in the SIJHL standings.
The top team in the nation is the 11-0 Portage Terriers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
