Dryden Ice Dogs Coach Clint Mylymock was busy yesterday, on a day that Junior Hockey Clubs had to get their numbers down to 23.
Dryden traded Julius Tamasy to the Duluth Clydesdales and Kaleb Schwab to Abitibi of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League.
Mylymock says the moves came down to import numbers and notes he wanted to give Schwab playing time.
He stresses both kids will be missed.
Tamasy is from Duluth and recorded 4-goals, 3-assists and 16-penalty minutes in 24-games with the Dogs.
Schwab suited up for 20-games with Dryden and finished with 2-assists and 2-penalty minutes.
Dryden did pick up left-winger Luke Kastell from Flin Flon of the Saskatchewan League and Defenceman Kevin Lander from the Wisconsin Wilderness.
Kastell is 6 foot 3, 195-pounds.
He was held pointless in 14-games with the Bombers, with 13 penalty minutes.
Lander is 5-11, 180-pounds.
Lander had no points and 32-penalty minutes in 18-games with the Wilderness.
