Ice Dogs Can’t Hold On In Spooner

A tough start for the Dryden Ice Dogs on their 3 game road trip in the states. Dryden saw a 1-0 2nd period lead disappear to fall to the Wisconsin Wilderness 2-1 in overtime! After a scorless first Thomas Greene would find the back of the net with a 4 on 3 powerplay goal late in the second. The Wilderness would respond midway through the third to tie and score 41 seconds into the OT to take the win. In other SIJHL action the Fort William North Stars spoiled “Pink The Rink” night ofr the Sioux Lookout Flyers scoring a 4-0 win in Sioux Lookout. All four teams will meet again on Saturday Night.
