The Dryden GM Ice Dogs gave the scouts plenty to talk about to open the Showcase event in Fort Frances.
The Ice Dogs scored four goals in the first period, including three goals in just over two minutes, in an 11-0 thrashing of Minnesota.
Matthew Pitchenese was named game MVP with 2-goals and 4-assists.
Woody Galbraith added 2-goals and 3-assists.
Jacen Bracko scored two shorthanded goals, while Evan Walls also potted a couple.
Dakotah Woods, Tristan Simm and Conner Mowatt added singles.
Dryden GM outshot the Iron Rangers 49-25.
Jacob Gnidzieko picked up his second shutout of the season.
The Ice Dogs will now head home in preparation for the host Lakers Wednesday night at 7:30.
