The Dryden Ice Dogs have lost to the Iron Range Iron Heads for the first time this SIJHL season.
The Dogs dropped a 4-3 decision in a shootout Thursday in Hibbing, Minnesota.
Ryan Lobreau scored twice for the Dogs, while Dan Morin added a single.
Kim Wildhaber made 23 saves in a losing effort.
Dryden is back on the ice Saturday against the Sioux Lookout Flyers.
