Ice Dogs Fall To Thunder

The Dryden Ice Dogs were unable to break the undefeated straeak of the Borderland Thunder losing 4-2 at Dryden Wednesday night. The Ice Dogs held a 2-0 lead midway through the 2nd period but 3 straight power play goals by the Thunder proved to much for the Ice Dogs to counter. The Thunder added an empty net goal to seal the victory with 5 seconds remaining. Matt Tryhuba scored his team leading 8th goal of the season while Kyle Schroeder notched his second. Kevin Kauk was between the pipes in the loss. The Ice Dogs will now get over a week to regroup with their next game in Fort Frances a weeks from Friday.
