The water in the Cochenour water supply is still not fit for human consumption as Health Officials are still trying to determine if it’s contaminated with arsenic.
Cochenour and McKenzie Island residents are being asked not to use water for drinking, cooking or brushing teeth.
Meanwhile, the Town of Red Lake is supplying bottled water for those effected which are now available at the Cochenour Arena and from the Miss McKenzie Ferry.
Showers are being offered at the Campbell Mine swimming pool and Red Lake Recreation Centre.
There is also bulk water available at the Balmertown and Red Lake Fire Halls.
Residents are asked to bring their own containers.
Emergency Officials stress the water supply is sufficient in case of a fire.
Residents are being asked to shut off power to their hot water heaters.
