It’s a special night for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.
The SIJHL team will honour veterans and our military personnel in their 4th Annual Military Appreciation game.
The players will be wearing special jerseys in support of our troops and those can be purchased by fans.
The opponent is the Minnesota Iron Rangers and game time is 7:30 at the Memorial Arena.
It’s a big weekend for Dryden GM as they can distance themselves from three chasing teams, while gaining ground on the Fort Frances Lakers.
The Ice Dogs are six points up on the third place Miners and seven back of the Fort Frances Lakers.
The game between English River and Thunder Bay Friday has been postponed due to transportation issues with the Miners.
However, Dryden GM is still scheduled to host English River Saturday night.
The Fort Frances Lakers are idle.
Saturday’s game between Dryden and English River is still on as scheduled.
