The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has broke ground on the new High School in Sioux Lookout.
The ceremony received the blessing from the Chief of Lac Seul First Nation.
Director of Education Sean Monteith calls it an important first step and stresses they are treating this project as their number one priority.
Monteith says this is an exciting time for Sioux Lookout and the Public School Board and he’s promising to “hit it out of the park”.
