The Lakers have knocked out the Ice Dogs in their past four playoff meetings, including the last two championships in Dryden.
Fort Frances has won the Bill Salonen Cup the previous three years.
Dryden GM has outscored the Lakers 18-6 and has outshot the fifth seed 111-68.
The Ice Dogs are also riding a 15-game winning streak.
