The Dryden Ice Dogs are in the early stages of vying for the 2012 World Junior ‘A’ Hockey Challenge and Prospects game.
The 2-week event would attract 4-International teams as well as 2-Canadian All-Star squads; not to mention major exposure with TSN on board.
President Ted Lake says they are definitely interested.
Lake notes its early but they are working with community groups and the City on submitting a bid.
The Tournament was held in Penticton, B.C last year and Lake notes Hockey Canada has asked Dryden to submit a bid.
Anyone interested in sitting on a Planning Committee is asked to call Ted at 216-6715.
