Ice Dogs Make It 7 Straight

The Dryden Ice Dogs scoredd a 9-1 win for the second games in as many nights defeating the Bulldogs in Thunder Bay Saturday night. After a tight first period that ended 1-1 the Ice Dogs scored 3 in the second and 5 in the third periods. 9 different Ice Dogs lit the red light including Jordan Chong, Shawn Newman, Brendan MacDonald, Cory Smith, Dale Logel, Scott Klein, Ryan Cox, Jared Briere, Travis Linklater. Ryan Michaud made 21 saves in the net. The Ice Dogs will try to stretch their win streak to 8 games as they take on the K&A GOlden Hawks at the Fort William First Nations Arena Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. Central time.
