Ice Dogs One Away

The Dryden Ice Dogs have taken and 3 games to 2 series lead after holding on for a 2-1 win over the Fort Frances Lakers. Mike Lennon scored in the opening frame for the Dogs and Ben McLellan scored the winner in the second. Mark McDonald had 2 assists. Fort Frances scored on the power play with 1:03 left in the contest but could not get the equalizer. Josh Baker made 25 saves for the win. Dryden can wrap up the series Friday night in Fort Frances to advance to the Bill Salnonen cup.
