The Dryden Ice Dogs kept the Fort William North Stars in check for 2 periods before the letting up 4 goals in the third in a 6-0 loss at home. The Stars scored once in the first and second then pulled away early in the third. Sonny Albert faced 40 shots in the loss between the pipes. The Dogs and Stars will finish off their 2 game set Saturday at the Dryden Memorial Arena. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
