A new SIJHL season is only four days away and the Dryden GM Ice Dogs open the campaign at home.
The Ice Dogs will be in action Friday and Saturday at the Memorial Arena.
Nic Noseworthy, Derek McPhail, Tristan Knott and Braeden Allkins were guests on the CKDR Morning Show Tuesday to talk about this years team and the upcoming season.
The players talked about the importance of lacing up the skates in front of a big crowd, stressing they play for the fans.
Noseworthy says it’s a great feeling to skate out on the ice knowing an entire City is behind them.
McPhail stressed the team will be fully active in the community once again, with a number of public relations events planned.
All four added the Ice Dogs are in it to win it this year, and want to bring the Bill Salonen Cup back to Dryden.
Dryden GM will play the English River Miners and the new Thief River Norskies on opening weekend.
