The Dryden Ice Dogs will have to travel down highway 502 one more time after falling 2-0 on home ice Tuesday night in SIJHL Playoff action. The Ice Dogs now hold a 3 games to 2 lead in their best of seven semi finals series with the Borderland Thunder. Th Ice Dogs fired 36 shots on Thunder netminder Dan Hoene but failed to find the back of the net. The series now shifts back to Fort Frances Thursday night for game 6.
