Matthew Pitchense and Jacen Bracko scored in a shootout to help the Dryden GM Ice Dogs to a 4-3 win Saturday night against the Fort Frances Lakers.
The undermanned Lakers, playing with only 14 skaters, once again frustrated the Ice Dogs, battling back from a couple of one goal deficits.
Woody Galbraith, Bracko and Wyatt Lawrence scored in regulation,
Dryden GM outshot the Lakers 49-26.
Ignace product Hunter Buzzi was once again solid, setting up a pair of Lakers goals.
The rematch is set for Monday at the Memorial Arena.
