Ice Dogs Survive Upset In Fort Frances

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs never held a lead but delivered when it really mattered in a 5-4 overtime win Friday night in Fort Frances.

Evan Walls delivered the game winner with under two minutes left in extra time to secure a badly needed two points.

Eric Stout scored two in regulation, while Jacen Bracko and Matthew Pitchense added singles.

Pitchenese ties the game with under 3 minutes to play.

The Lakers outshot Dryden GM 45-35, with Landon Pavlision picking up the win.

Dryden GM remains four points back of first place Thief River Falls with a pivotal matchup Sunday afternoon at 3:30 between the two teams.
