Ice Dogs Tripped Up On Home Ice

A big upset for a resilient Thunder Bay North Stars club.
Playing with only 13-skaters, the Stars knocked off the Dryden Ice Dogs 5-4 last night at the Memorial Arena.
Dryden coach Paul Maclean says they had too many turnovers and notes they gave away a few goals.
Maclean says his club has to start playing playoff style hockey.
Tyler Walsh, Rory Court, Chris Belhumer and Paul Thompson scored for the Dogs, while Dryden’s Bryce Maggrah found the back of the net for the Stars.
Thunder Bay is now two points back of the second place Ice Dogs in the SIJHL standings.
