The Dryden GM Ice Dogs jumped out to a 4-0 lead and didn’t look back in a 6-2 win over the Lakers in Fort Frances Friday night.
The win was the third straight for Dryden GM, a first for the defending champions this year.
Trygve Many Guns scored a pair of goals, while Kyle Sargent and Ryan Brandt both scored their first SIJHL goals.
Cameron Coutre and Evan Pakkala also found the back of the net.
The Ice Dogs outshot Fort Frances 42-26, despite playing with only 13-skaters.
Jordan Wilde picked up the win.
