Ice Dogs/Wilderness In Driver’s Seat

The Dryden Ice Dogs and Wisconsin Wilderness are one win away from the SIJHL finals after wins on Thursday night. In Dryden the Ice Dogs built a 4-1 third period lead before winning 5-3. Dryden now leads the best of seven series 3 games to 1 with game 5 tonight in Fort Frances. Alex Galbraith had two goals including the winner while Ryan Lobreau, Dallas Crum and Thomas Greene scored singles. Greene on a penalty shot in the second. Ian Perrier made 27 saves in the win. In Thunder Bay the Wisconsin Wilderness broke a scoreless tie at the 7:41 mark of the third to win 1-0 over the Thunder Bay North Stars and take a 3 games to none lead in their series. Game 4 is tonight in Thunder Bay. CKDR will have the call of the Dryden Fort Frances game beginning at 7:15 with the pre game show from the Ice For Kids Arena in Fort Frances
