Ignace Arena Closed For The Time Being

A setback in the opening of the Ignace Arena.
Town Administrator-Treasurer Wayne Hanchard says the brine chiller is broken.
The brine chiller is a critical component for ice making.
Ice can’t be made or maintained without the chiller.
Hanchard says at this point they don’t know how long it may take to either repair or replace the chiller.
The arena was scheduled to open on November 4th.
It will now be closed until further notice.
Hanchard says he hopes to have more information by the end of the week.
