NDP Critic Calls On Liberals To Address ROF

More frustration with the delay in the development of the Ring of Fire.
NDP Northern Development and Mines Critic Michael Mantha says it’s ridiculous that the government keeps misleading everyone.
Mantha adds that last year, the Premier went to Sudbury to announce that the government had reached a deal with Cliffs Natural Resources.
However, he notes that no plan has been implemented and there is concern that Cliffs may be pulling away from the project.
In return, Mantha says this will deter companies interested in working on the Ring of Fire because the government can’t commit to this “once in a lifetime” opportunity.
Mantha brought the issue up this morning in Question Period.
