Former residents of Ignace are being welcomed home.
The Ignace Homecoming starts Friday and runs until July 3rd.
Spokesperson Sheila Zappitelli was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Wednesday and she’s expecting a strong turnout noting “if you build it, they will come.”
Some of the events include a week long fishing derby, a hockey tournament, a beach day, Canada Day celebrations, golf tournament, street party and live entertainment.
Of course one of the highlights will be the sharing of memories.
