Complaints from parentsabout children being sold cigarettes this summer have led to charges being laid by Ignace OPP.
23 year old Byron Kaiser has been charged under the Tobacco Control Act with supplying to someone under the age of 19.
A conviction could mean a fine ranging from $100 to $100,000.
OPP in Ignace have also laid charges in another case.
Officers noticed someone wandering around the Balsam St neighbourhood & when they asked him what he was doing, the fellow gave what turned out to be a false name & said he was just hitchhiking.
A short time later police recovered a stolen vehicle.
45 year old John Perrault of no fixed address faces a charge of theft & personation. Sources say more charges are pending.
