Moose and Deer

Hunters in the region will NOT be asked to provide brain stem samples of Deer & Moose they take down this fall.
The sampling will be limited to Minnesota where a captive Elk died this summer of Chronic Wasting Disease.
The Minnesota DNR is trying to determine if the disease has infected wild deer in the State. The animals of course have no idea what the International Border is for & cross back & forth at will.
