Illegal Hunting

Two American men have been fined a total of 3-thousand dollars for illegal hunting in the region.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says the men pled guilty to hunting moose without licenses.
Conservation officers received a tip and checked the men at the Fort Frances border crossing.
The bull moose was returned to the Crown.
The MNR encourages residents to report hunting or fishing violations to local ministry offices or by calling Crimestoppers.
