Illegal Substances Located in Sandy Lake

A Sandy Lake First Nation man faces charges after Nishnawbe-Aski Police were called to the Airport on the remote community, north of Red Lake.
An investigation found a homemade belt worn by the accused, with several compartments containing illegal substances.
Police say 48-year-old Daniel Kakegamic has been charged with 2-counts of possession of a controlled substance.
