DNA evidence has uncovered the lies of 2 Southern Ontario hunters.
The men were stopped by MNR Officials on Lake of Bays, north of Ignace, with a cow moose in their boat.
The pair claimed the animal was shot at a legal site however tissue sample taken from a location where hunting is prohibited proved that the men were not telling the truth.
A 52-year-old and a 59-year-old have been fined a total of $2,500 as a result.
