An Easter morning pursuit in Frenchman’s Head has lead to five charges.
Lac Seul Police were called to a traffic complaint just before 4 o’clock Sunday morning.
The driver took off when officers attempted to stop the individual resulting in a brief chase.
Police eventually stopped the vehicle and determined the driver was impaired.
Police say 35 year old Shera Wesley of Lac Seul First Nation faces a total of five charges including flight from police, failing to stop for police and driving with open liquor.
Lac Seul Police say they take a zero-tolerance approach to drinking and driving in their communities.
