The OPP say local residents don’t seem to be getting the message about not
drinking and driving.
Through the first month of the Festive RIDE program, provincial police in the
Northwest Region say they have laid 20 impaired driving charges.
Another 12 drivers have been handed driving suspensions for operating
a motor vehicle with a blood/alcohol level in the warning range.
The Festive RIDE program will run until January 2nd.
