There’s no change in the federal government’s target for bringing Syrian refugees into Canada.
25 thousand are still expected by the end of February.
Immigration Minister John McCallum says the process is being helped along with the generous financial support of both Canadian companies and individuals.
McCallum says so far the government has helped to bring in 2 thousand refugees into the country.
