Impaired Driving Charge In Red Lake

Ontario Provincial Police in Red Lake are reminding motorists to not drink and drive.

Officers say on Sunday morning at 12:44, they conducted a traffic stop and found that a driver had alcohol in their system.

Police then say a breathalyzer test was done and came back with a failing result.

OPP say the driver was arrested and returned to the Red Lake detachment for further testing.

Officers say 19 year old Starr Quewezence has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle as well as Over 80.

Police say he will appear in Red Lake Court on August 10th to answer to the charges.
