Impaired Driving Charge In Red Lake

Provincial Police in Red Lake are reporting an impaired driving charge during a R.I.D.E check on Highway 105.

Police say on Sunday at 1am they suspected a driver to be impaired by alcohol and demanded a breath sample.

OPP then say the driver failed and was arrested and returned to the detachment for further tests.

As a result of investigations the 25 year old man was charged with Operation while impaired with a Blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus and Operation while impaired with alcohol.

Police say he was released by way of a Promise to Appear in Red Lake court on September 19th.
