The School Board responsible for public schools in International Falls intends to look at how to improve the safety for its students in the new year.
All doors, but the front door are now locked.
Superintendent of Independent School District 361 Nordy Nelson says a review of schools will likely start in the new year.
Meantime, Police are now on site before and after school and during the lunch period to help ease student fears in light of last weeks shooting in Connecticut.
