A new Council is officially in place in Dryden.
Craig Nuttal, Mary Trist, Brian Collins, Mel Fisher, Ken Moss, Marty MacKinnon and Mike Wood were sworn in at a ceremony at the Dryden Centre Monday night.
Mayor Craig Nuttall used his inaugural speech to focus on the future.
Nuttall stressed that this year’s budget has to be according to our need’s and not our wants.
He says he wants services to remain the same, with no hike in user fees.
Nuttall is confident that Council can work together as a team for the betterment of the citizens of Dryden.
He adds they will be evaluating all department’s to find possible savings.
