Increase In Electricity Prices

Expect a bit of an increase on your electricity bill next month.
Ontario Energy Board Spokesperson Vanda Wall says folks will see an increase of about $4 on the “electricity line” or about 3% on the total monthly bill.
Off-peak times will go up to 7.2 cents/kWh.
Mid-peak times will go up to 10.9 cents/kWh.
On-peak times will go up to 12.9 cents/kWh.

The changes become effective November 1st.
