Dryden-area residents will be able to enjoy a critically acclaimed movie that hits close to home.
A showing of “Indian Horse” will be held tonight at the Centre.
Open Roads School Vice-Principal Teri Jackson says it’s a film based on the award winning Best Seller by Richard Wagamese.
Jackson also says it is a real movie based on history and it will take place at 7pm.
She also tells residents that admission is free.
The movie follows the life of a talented First Nations hockey player and how the boy survived the residential school system and a life of racism.
