A 26 year old woman from Fort Frances has been charged in connection to the death of a three year old infant on the Whitefish Bay First Nation a year-and-a-half ago.
Treaty Three Police says Malcolm Jack was transported to Lake of the Woods District Hospital in July of 2005 in obvious distress.
He was later transferred to the Winnipeg Health Sciences Center but died a day later.
Police have not released the cause of death, but Falcon Cameron has been charged with second degree murder.
She is presently in custody at the Kenora Jail and is due to appear in court later today.
