Information Sessions on Referendum

Ontario’s Referendum Resource Officer will be in Dryden and Ignace the
next couple of days.
For the first time in 83-years, voters will be asked on October 10th
whether they want to keep the current electoral system or switch to a mixed
member proportional system, which would allow voters to select a candidate
and a party in an election.
Pat Brett will be answering questions and clarifying the referendum at
Dryden Rotary Wednesday at noon and at an open meeting in Ignace at the
Silver Tops Hall at 3 and at the Ignace Library at 7 o’clock.
